The annual party of the lifeguards:
From 19 to 21 July, a big party takes place every year at the Echternacherbruck campsite. Traditionally, this party lasts until the early hours. For those who value a good night’s sleep, we understand that this may not be the ideal environment.
Of course, we understand if you prefer a quiet environment during your stay from 19 to 21 July. We will be happy to help you find accommodation at our nearby campsites, where the atmosphere may be more in line with your wishes..

Environment
At this campsite you can really go in all directions:
- Spend a whole day at Eifelpark Gondorf. In this park, which is almost as big as 100(!) football fields, you will find not only all kinds of attractions but also plenty of animals.
- Are you crazy about dinosaurs? Then you should not miss Dinosaur Park Teufelsschlucht and the adjacent Teufelsschlucht ravine.
- Do you like hiking? Then you are in the right place at Echternacherbrück campsite. Hike (parts of) the Mullerthal Trail and you will pass many gorges, rocks and ravines!
- Do you prefer to cycle? Then ask at the campsite reception about the many possibilities
- Angry fishermen can also cast their rods. From 15 June, permits for fishing on the river Sûre can be purchased at the campsite reception.
- Canoeing on the river is possible from Dillingen (Lux.) to Echternach.
- Trier is the oldest city in Germany (around 16 BC the Roman emperor ordered the construction of Trier). You can still find many remains from Roman times. That makes the city especially worth a visit. In addition, you can shop there and also very nice: take a boat trip!
- Luxembourg city is the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is definitely worth a visit. You can visit the palace, the casemates, the palace and the cathedral, among other things.
Public transport in Luxembourg is free!
Because public transport is free throughout the country of Luxembourg, you can travel from A to B free of charge throughout Luxembourg. Also in all hiking areas, to one of the many castles or fortresses in e.g. Vianden/Beaufort and Larochette. For example, you can also travel from Echternach to Luxembourg city for free by public transport. That saves fuel and parking costs!
