What time am I welcome at the campsite?
You are welcome at the campsites from 15:00. The guests before you have left by 10:00 at the latest. In the meantime, the tents are being prepared for the next guests. In order to give our colleagues enough time to get everything ready, we would like to ask you to respect the arrival and departure times.
Where should I be when I arrive at the campsite?
When you arrive at the campsite, show your arrival voucher at the campsite reception. The reception staff will receive you. The voucher indicates that your reservation is completely in order, so it is important that you can show this voucher. The voucher does not have to be printed out. Showing the voucher on your phone is also fine. The reception staff will then indicate where you can find the rented tent on the campsite. If there are service employees from Country Camp Benelux working on the campsite, they will take over the reception.
Do I have to pay a deposit at the campsite?
You do not pay a deposit with us. An accident can always happen. Let us know if something is broken. We will then try to provide replacement material and discuss with you the compensation for the damage. You can report the damage to the service employees of Country Camp Benelux at the campsite. Are there no service employees of Country Camp Benelux working at the campsite? Then report the damage to the employees at the reception.
On departure
Unfortunately, holidays also come and go… When you leave, we would like to ask you the following:
- Dishes done
- Inventory back in the same place as on arrival
- Refrigerator empty, including the freezer
- Garbage taken away
- Floors swept clean
- Beds stripped. We would like to ask you to collect the used bed linen on one bed. It is best not to put the linen in a pillowcase. Simply placing it loosely on the bed is very nice.
We would like to thank you very much for your cooperation. You are helping us tremendously with this.
Be sure to check all corners for forgotten luggage before you leave.
Have a safe trip back and we hope to see you next time!

Practical information
Praktische informatie
Can I bring my electrical appliances such as an electric BBQ, television and microwave etc. and connect them in the tent?
No, the electrical connection at the campsites is set to low power consumption (220 volts/4 amps) and is therefore not suitable for these appliances. Charging a mobile phone or using a night light is possible.
Are the tents smoke-free?
Yes. Smoking is not allowed in our tents. Smoking is allowed outside.
Are pets allowed on the campsite?
Pets are welcome at many of our campsites, with the exception of the high season. During the high season from 15 July to 15 August 2022, pets are not allowed. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per tent. The price per pet is €7.50 per night.

The kitchen inventory is geared to 5 people and there are also enough chairs for 5 people.
Pitch
Can I choose a spot on the campsite where the tent will be set up?
Our tents are on fixed spots on the campsite. We do not set up tents on other spots.
Can you send us a map of the campsite so that we can indicate where we want to pitch?
In consultation, we can reserve a preferred spot for you. If you have indicated a preference for a specific spot on the campsite when you made your reservation, you will pay an additional €35 if the stay is longer than 7 nights. If you stay for less than 7 nights, we charge €20. Of course, this is only possible if the spot has not yet been booked with a preference. We are happy to help you find the most suitable spot and can provide you with detailed information about the spot.
How big are the spots on the campsite?
This varies. Country Camp Benelux selects campsites with relatively spacious pitches, we measure this ratio against the environment. On the Cote d’Azur the pitches are smaller than in the interior of France. But in proportion our pitches on the Cote d’Azur are larger than many other campsites in the area.
Book with rebooking guarantee
Are developments in the world holding you back from booking your holiday?
We understand better than anyone that there is currently enough going on in the world that also changes the plans regarding your holiday. But we also understand that you want to be busy with something positive. And your holiday is something positive! That is why we offer everyone who books now a rebooking guarantee. In other words: you choose a nice holiday. We reserve the tent for you, at the campsite of your choice and on the dates of your choice. Are you unable to go on holiday because, for example, the corona rules of the Dutch government do not allow this or because you prefer to go to another campsite? Let us know. We will then quickly look for another Country Camp Benelux destination. The campsite to which you can rebook depends on availability. In season 2021, we were able to accommodate all our guests who wanted to do so at another campsite.
Good to know in advance
Of course we will do everything we can to give you a wonderful holiday. These are our rules regarding rebooking.
- The holiday you want to rebook falls within the same holiday season. The 2022 holiday season runs from the end of April to mid-September 2022
- Rebooking is only possible if there is room at the Country Camp Benelux campsite of your choice.
- Rebooking is possible for all types of Country Camp Benelux tents and for all Country Camp Benelux locations at home and abroad, as long as the tent or location in question is available.
- The replacement holiday may be shorter or longer. And may start or end on other dates. However, we assume that the replacement holiday has a minimum value of 70% of the travel sum of the original holiday. The nightly price on the date of the original booking is decisive in this.
- The replacement holiday may also be split into several shorter holidays. (minimum stay is 3 nights)
- The replacement holiday may also be enjoyed by someone else, but you, as the first booker, remain ultimately responsible for the payment. Will the travel group be different? Please let us know in advance.
- The replacement holiday may also be divided over a connecting trip with various destinations.

Cancellation, how does that work?
Reservations can only be cancelled in writing. The cancellation costs are 25% of the rental amount for cancellations up to eight weeks before the booked period (minimum €115) and 50% of the rental amount for cancellations between eight and four weeks before the booked period (minimum €115). In case of cancellation within four weeks before the booked period, the full rental amount is due. In case of later arrival in the tent or earlier departure than reserved, no refund will be made.
Is that also possible with Country Camp Benelux?
If Country Camp Benelux cannot offer the reserved accommodation, the tenant will be notified immediately. You will be offered a suitable alternative without an increase in the travel sum. If you do not make use of this, you will receive a refund of the travel sum and reservation costs within two weeks. Country Camp Benelux is not bound by this in the event of force majeure, such as when a state of emergency is declared in the area of the campsite, the outbreak of infectious diseases that can be dangerous to humans and/or animals and the threat of flooding or forest fires.
Our advice: Take out cancellation insurance
We naturally wish you a carefree holiday. If something does happen and you cannot go on holiday or have to end your holiday early, cancellation insurance can ensure that you get (part of) the travel sum back. You can often take out cancellation insurance with your bank. You must take out this insurance as soon as possible after booking.
I forgot to take out travel and cancellation insurance. Is this still possible?
This is possible for travel insurance up to the day before departure. Please note that cancellation insurance can be taken out up to 7 days after booking.
Larger groups
We want to book with a group, is this possible?
Booking groups is possible in some cases, but to avoid disappointment we always contact you to discuss the holiday in question. Groups of young people are not allowed in our tents. Our experience shows that the behavior of groups (young people) does not fit in well with our other guests and the campsites where our tents are located. Because we cherish our guests and our campsites, we are very reluctant to accept bookings for larger groups. If you would like to rent tents from Country Camp Benelux as a group, please contact us. We will then discuss our (strict) conditions with you. If a representative of Country Camp Benelux determines that these conditions are being violated, the rental agreement will be terminated immediately. The entire group will be removed from the campsite. Any money already paid will not be refunded and any additional costs incurred will be recovered from the tenant.
Are your tents also rented out as temporary accommodation?
All our types of tents on all our campsites may only be rented for holidays. Use for (temporary) housing by (temporary) employees is absolutely prohibited. If a representative of Country Camp Benelux determines that this rule is being violated, the rental agreement will be terminated immediately. The tent will be vacated immediately and the tenant of the tent will be blacklisted. Any money already paid will not be refunded and any additional costs incurred will be recovered from the tenant.
Our group consists of 6 people, your tents are fully equipped for 5 people, can someone else come along?
Our tents are fully equipped for 5 people. If you want to travel with 6 people, this is on request. At camping Gulperberg, a maximum of 5 people per tent is allowed.
We want to stand next to each other with several families, can we arrange this?
If there are enough free tents available, this is certainly possible. For reserving a preferred place, we charge € 35 per tent if the stay is longer than 7 nights. If the stay is shorter than 7 nights, € 20 is charged.
You can only indicate your preferred places by telephone or email.
